I provide a range of timber-related services, from bespoke greenwood structures and traditional joinery to restoration, repairs and more conventional building work. Each project is approached with care, practical understanding and respect for the materials involved. A summary of each can be found below

Specialist timber craft and more conventional carpentry. This includes bespoke structures, restoration and repair, roundwood construction, and practical site-based work where sound judgement, experience and careful workmanship matter.

Bespoke timber structures ranging from small garden rooms, pergolas, sheds and cabins through to larger barns and house frames, built with care, practical understanding and attention to detail.

Round and curved timbers sourced from local woodlands, used in their natural form to create strong, characterful structures with a closer connection to the landscape.

Restoration and repair work on older timber structures, with care taken to understand how they were originally made and how best to preserve their strength and character. My experience includes work connected to traditional timber buildings and historic structures.

General carpentry, joinery and practical building work, including repairs, replacement timber members, sheet materials and more conventional site-based jobs.

Good work begins with understanding — of timber, geometry, structure and process. Whether the project is simple or complex, I approach it with attention to detail, practical methodology and a respect for materials that comes from years of hands-on experience.
If you have a project in mind, would like to discuss repairs or restoration, or are interested in bespoke timber work, please get in touch. I’d be glad to hear more about what you have in mind.
